Restaurants

There are a variety of excellent restaurants in Whitianga and Coromandel.  Matarangi ( a few mins drive) has Omaras Bar at the local golf club, open 7 days during the summer. In the same area is Pipers Cafe which offers casual dining or simply take a walk along the beach to sample Lukes delicious pizza.

As quiet beaches and restaurants don't go together you are welcome to bring something prepared to enjoy on your deck if you do not wish to drive out again on night of arrival. There are no cooking facilities but we will provide plates etc. If you are driving from the south the New World Supermarket in Whitianga has a good Deli and is open till 8pm, also in Coromandel is the Smoking Co selling prepared fish and an organic shop with cheeses and breads.
